Thankful Thursday

I expected this day to go a certain way and it didn’t. The big surprise is that I expected it to be rushed and stressful but it was the exact opposite. Ten kids participated in my creative crafts day, we had s’mores, and three of the youth group guys came and helped. It went really well. After the guys stayed till youth, we walked to the bottom of the church's property to see the river and if it was dry enough for capture the flag –it wasn’t. I had never been down the hill before, it was beautiful and the river was just joyfully rushing along. We through rocks for awhile then trudged back to the church, napped, ate, and had youth.

This day has been full of joy, rest, and joyfulness. I am thankful!
