Survivor Nicaragua: Nov 24

People often ask me “Hey Probst! What keeps you interested in the show after 21 seasons?” Well, I’m guessing it’s the same thing that keeps you guys interested — human nature. At its core that’s what Survivor is really all about, isn’t it? Our nature as humans and how we behave in different situations?

Holly is a great example. Five days into the show and she wanted to quit; 22 days later not only is she still around, but she could win. What changed? Her behavior. After nearly losing her mind, she rallied. She gained a lot of respect and now is considered a threat to go to the end.
Wow, last week blindsided me. I didn't expect the power moves or shifts. Brenda's alliance crumbled. The tribe voting her out was the biggest game changing power play yet. What really surprised me was Sash not using his idol to help her. The person I feel worried for the most is Chase. He had two alliances and he backed the wrong one two weeks in a row.

Other Happenings: Jane won immunity. I love Jane! In a very physical challenge the oldest woman lasted longer than the strongest guys. It was fun to see. And there was fire in the camp/ The show didn't give it a lot of air time but the fire cost the tribe three chests, their remaining food, the machetes, and part of the tarp...WOW!

So where things stand: Brenda's gone and nine remain to fight for the million dollars.

Predictions for Nov 24:
Previews for tonight's episode look good. NaOnka had done something horrible again. Looking forward to finding out what it was and if she can save herself another week. It's also nice that the target is on her back. Gives Berny and Chase another week to feud.

I think NaOnka is going home.
